The gift of God is eternal life, can't earn it, don't deserve it

For the life and times of Billie Hicks we give thanks. He fought the good fight of faith knowing this world is not our home. Thank you, Lord Jesus for the gift of eternal life. And we give you honor and praise for the life and times of Billie Hicks. You're a beloved child of God, husband, dad and friend.

Billie Hicks was a life-long resident of Chattanooga. He passed away peacefully at his home on 1/2/2024 at the age of 89.

He was a Communication specialist with the United States Air Force. He loved to fish, as well as painting and wood carving. He was a very loving husband and father, he will be missed.

Billie Hicks was preceded in death by parents James E. and Gladys Hicks; brother James E. Hicks Jr.; sisters Mildred Smith, Margret Schmidt, and Mary Coppit.

Billie Hicks was survived by his wife of 35 years, Linda Hicks; one brother Jerry (Gail) Hicks; son Telly Grant (wife Lisa Grant); daughters Linda Baker (husband Dennis Baker), Maria Davis (husband Chris Davis), Lindsey Green (husband Coy Green), Audrey Basma (husband Mohammed Basma).

Grandchildren: Matthew Pike, Brianna Rodgers, Taylor Millard, Jordan Grant, William Grant, Logan Davis, Hunter Davis and several great grandchildren.
