Obituary

Beulah M Vaughn, 84, of Cleveland, TN passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2014. She was born on February 1, 1930 to the late Carl and Lillie Mae Callihan. She was a lifelong resident of this area. Beulah loved looking at flowers, bird watching, reading, and watching Westerns.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Gates; one daughter Kathy Gates; one stepson Gary Vaughn and stepdaughter Irene Moynihan.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband James Wesley Vaughn; five children: Lamar Gates (Irene), Phyllis Murray, Debbie Farris (Fletcher), Janie Osborne (Jason), and Michael Gates; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren. In addition to these, she leaves behind several other extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday September 20, 2014 at Lebanon Baptist Church on Old Parksville Road in Cleveland, TN. Pastor Fletcher Farris will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-8:00pm on Friday September 19, 2014 at the church. Interment will follow the service on Saturday in the Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
