Bettye Ann Wagoner

Bettye Ann Wagoner, 87, of Ooltewah, TN passed away on February 1, 2019. She was born on August 6, 1931 to the late Andrew Clinton and Vernon Craig Wagoner. Bettye was a lifelong Tennessee resident. She lived a very simple life and was an avid reader of the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Bettye also played the piano for Apison United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother and father she is preceded in death by three brothers: Vernon Wagoner, Bill Wagoner, and Frank Wagoner; sisters: Lillie Davis, Fairie Kellerhals, Thelma Ritchie, and Evelyn Holsomback.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two sister in laws: Elizabeth Wagoner and Shirley Wagoner and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Bettye also leaves behind a very special niece, Terri Liu.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at Apison United Methodist Church located at 4404 Bill Jones Road, Apison, TN 37302. A celebration of life service will follow the service at the church at 1:00pm with Rev. Jake Herron and Don Stafford officiating. Interment will follow at Ooltewah Cemetery.
