Betty Sue Smith

Betty Sue Smith, 77, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. Betty was for many years as a seamstress and then worked as a waitress for a long time as well. Betty was also a part of the Women’s Auxiliary in Decatur, TN. She loved to have fun, joke with others, and loved her family more than anything. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Smith and Betty Inez Hayes Smith; siblings, George Harold Smith, William Lee Smith, and Carolyn Jeanette Morgan.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Pamela Sue Owens (Billy), Rickey Vincent Dunn, Kimberly Rayfield (David); sister, Dorothy Clayton Hawkins; grandchildren, Michelle Johnson, Dana Owens, Karen Owens, Timothy Dunn, Matthew Wisse, and Joshua Rayfield; along with several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 30, 2018 from 4-7pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel. There will be a celebration of life service held at 7pm immediately following the visitation.
