Betty Richards

Betty Jean Richards, 66, of Athens, passed away on August 9, 2024. She was born on October 28, 1957 in Auburn, KY to the late Elvis and Evelyn Gregory.

Betty was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and loved her grandchildren dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jacob Hood; brother, Paul Gregory; sister, Barbara Eppling and a nephew, Patrick Eppling.

Betty is survived by her sons; Joseph Hood of Kentucky, Joseph "Scottie" Hood of Kentucky; Jason Gregory of Wisconsin; siblings, Kenneth Gregory of Kentucky, Mary Hogan of Tennessee, William Gregory of Tennessee; grandchildren, Joseph Hood Jr., Sebastion Hood, Christian Gregory; significant other, Bryan Gollubske and many nieces and nephews.

Per Betty's wishes, there will be no services.
