Betty Morrow

Betty Joyce Morrow, 94, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at her home. Betty was a faithful member of the Waterville Baptist Church and served her church greatly. She was the daughter of the late Cecil & Eula McDaris. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband David Haskel "Hack" Morrow and one brother Harry McDaris.

She is survived by her children Sherry Casteel, Pam (Bobby) DeLay, David Morrow, and Tyler (Suzy) Morrow. She also survived by her grandchildren: Twana Cochran, April Smith, Hollye Proffitt, Rob DeLay, Andy Morrow, Courtney DeLay, Colten Morrow, Sklyer Morrow along with 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister Jerrie Ervin, numerous other extended family members, church family and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00am at Waterville Baptist Church with Reverend Alan Lovelace officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Ron Chastain, Martin Smith, Rob Delay, Lynn Moore, Lamar Ervin and Dewayne Morrow serving as pallbearers. The deacons of Waterville Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Waterville Baptist Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and on Thursday from 10:00am until the service at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Waterville Baptist Church Building Fund.
