Betty June Young

Obituary
 Betty June Young, 74, a resident of Cleveland left her earthly home here in Cleveland on Friday morning, August 31, 2012 and joined her Lord and Savior in her Heavenly home. Betty was born in Maryville, TN on August 24, 1938 a daughter of the late Perry and Mary Blair. She spent the first part of her life in Maryville until relocating to Cleveland in 1960. Betty was of the Church of God faith and a member of Michigan Avenue Church of God. She was a very Godly woman who enjoyed Bible study and singing in her church. Betty was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family and left them a wonderful Christian heritage to follow.
In addition to her parent, Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Bueron Young, one grandson Charlie Atchley, on sister Jeanette Earls, three brothers Raymond, Jerry, and Charlie Blair, and one son-in-law Larry Cross.
Betty leaves here to cherish her memory, five daughters Teresa Cross, Judy Robinson (Larry), Betty Gates (Charles), Wanda Richmond (Terry), and Sondra Crowden (Tim), five sisters Norma Eblen (Roy), Linda Rogers (Jimmy), Brenda Green (Kenneth), Sharon Edgar (James), and Debbie Blair, one brother Jim Blair (Zola) of Knoxville, TN. She also is survived by five grandchildren Stephanie Atchley, Darin Gates, Tanner Gates, Christopher Crowden, and Amanda Cross (Tracy), and three great grandchildren Hailey & Megan Atchley, and Kaylan Duffy, and a host of other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service is planned for Sunday September 2, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Michigan Avenue Church of God located at 515 Minnis Road, Cleveland, TN 37311 with the Reverend Charles Hollifield, the Reverend Gary Farris and the Reverend Scott Potter officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service time.
