Betty Jo Snyder

Betty Jo Snyder, 83, of Cleveland, TN passed away on December 5, 2021. She was born on August 12, 1938 to the late Joseph and Laura Daffron in the Mt. Carmel/Red Clay Community of Bradley County. Betty was a lifelong resident of Cleveland and Bradley County. She worked for more than 50 years with M.C. Headrick Markets, Red Food Stores, and Bi-Lo Grocery Stores. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband Bernard Snyder; grandson Noble Chanler Snyder; siblings: J.L. Daffron, William Daffron, Robert Daffron, and Francis Scoggins.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Wesley B. Snyder Jr.; grandson Seth Wesley Snyder, and great grandson Beau W. Snyder. She also leaves behind her sister Lois D. James, with whom she was very close and lived with for nearly 20 years.

A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 4pm on Thursday December 9th at Companion Funeral Home.
