Betty Jean Watson

Betty Jean Watson, 69, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 30, 2021. She was born on February 20, 1952 to the late Frank and Della Mae Cronan. Betty was a lifelong resident of this area. She enjoyed going to auctions, fishing, and attending family dinners. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by two brothers Paul and Billy Cronan.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 40 years, Jim Watson; sister Joyce Brown (Joe); sisters in law: Charlene Hull, Arlene Russell (David), Abby Wampler, Kim Willis (Dan), Jessie White (David); brothers in law: Ronnie Watson, Willard Watson, and Linton Watson (Mildred). She also leaves behind a special friend Jane Watson and Shirley Patten.

Betty’s family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm on Monday July 5, 2021 in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home. A celebration of Betty’s life will follow at 7pm. She will be laid to rest at Chestua Campground Cemetery on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at 11:00am.
