Betty Jean Hackler

Obituary
Betty Jean Hackler, 75, McDonald, TN passed away at Memorial Hospital on Sunday October 13, 2013. She was born on March 28, 1938 to the late Sanford and Sarah Ingram. Betty had been a resident of Bradley County for more than 50 years. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Corinth Baptist Church, where she was very involved. She was also a member of the McDonald Ruritan Club.
In addition to her mother and father, Betty is preceded in death by two sisters: Mary Goforth and Brenda Stevens. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 54 years, Billy Hackler, one son Jerry Stevens, and one sister Judy Ritchie.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 16, 2013 from 5:00-8:00pm at Corinth Baptist Church located at 216 Corinth Church Rd McDonald TN 37353. A funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday October 17, 2013 at 11:00am with Rev. Gary Thacker and Rev. J.C. Eller officiating. Interment will follow the service on Thursday at the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Tony DeLay, Jimmy Strickland, Jerry Brooks, and Paul DeLay will serve as pallbearers.
