Betty Jean Dunn

Betty Jean Dunn, 79, a longtime resident of this area passed away on Sunday morning, February 5th, 2017 in a local healthcare facility. She was born on August 12, 1937 a daughter of the late Luther & Lissie Parm. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Goodwill Baptist Church. Betty was retired from Durcell after twenty nine years of faithful service. She enjoyed reading and loved to travel.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter Mary Lou Dunn, and her grandparents Cas & Tinnie Chambers.

Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of fifty six years Grady S. Dunn, one son Allan Dewayne Dunn, one brother and sister in law Bill & Eula Parm, one sister and brother in law Paulette (Parm) & Charles Holmes, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Thursday night, February 9th, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Jimmy Parm and the Reverend Ronnie Carden officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time in the funeral home parlor.

The interment and committal service will take place on Friday, February 10th, 2017 at 10:00 PM in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
