Betty Ivey

Betty Jean Ivey, 90, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Betty was born on April 26, 1933, in Valdosta, Georgia to the late William C. and Eula M. Jones.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dany E. Jones Sr.; her second husband, J.L. Ivey; brother, William C. Jones; and her sister, Lonni Sintow.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Dany E. Jones Jr., and Larry J. (Wendy) Ivey; her grandchildren, Jay L. (Whitney) Ivey, Logan J. (Jillian) Ivey, William "Tyler" (Alexandria) Ivey, Misti Maddux, Mandi (Tony) Barnick, Jay (Meagan) Jones, and Justin (Channie) Jones; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Oliver Ivey, Grace, Kylie, Izzie, Nunzio, Ronin, Sterling, Scarlett, Stetson, Shepard, Cheyenne, Alaina, and McKenna; along with a host of extended family and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland at 2:00 pm. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. A graveside service is to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
