Betty Irwin, 88, passed away on May 5, 2025, in Athens, TN.

Betty is survived by Deni Albrecht - son, of Hixson, Julie Burch - daughter, of Valparaiso, IN, Jeri Holweger - daughter, of Panama City Beach, FL, Lori Sandberg - daughter, of Sweetwater, Gaynelle Albrecht - daughter-in-law, Garry Burch - son-in-law, Jeff Holweger - son-in-law, Scott Sandberg - son-in-law, Adam Burch - grandson, Ryan Burch - grandson, Corey Sandberg - grandson, Dallas Sandberg - grandson, Heather Holweger-Garcia - granddaughter, Rachel Albrecht Warren - granddaughter, Catherine (Albrecht) Cooke - granddaughter, Evelyn (Jones) Albrecht - sister.

Betty is preceded in death by Thomas Jones - father, Ethel Jones - mother, Robert Irwin - spouse

She was a born-again Christian, and a member at Grace Bible Church in Dayton, Tennessee. She loved helping others, and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid square dancer with her late husband, Jack Irwin. She loved her flower and vegetable gardens and loved baking and gifting to others.

She was an employee at Rhea County Medical Center for 30 years. She worked as a CNA and in her last years was Director of central supply.

A family celebration of life will be at a later date.
