Betty Glisson

Betty Elizabeth Abercrombie Glisson, loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 96 years of age. She worked for Fulton County for 30+ years driving a school bus where those children also became part of her family. She was a member of Sentell baptist Church, where she attended until she moved to Cleveland, Tennessee however, she still remain strong to her faith She will be missed not only by her family, but by her caretakers the "Dream Team" who so tenderly cared for her during her remaining days at "Remember Me" in Cleveland Tennessee.... Debbie, Melissa, Ashley, Kaycie, her nurses just to name a few. Her positive outlook in life was an inspiration to those who were blessed to have her in their lives with her smile and sparkly blue eyes Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Elex Herbert, (Tuney) Glisson. She is survived by her son Elex Gene (Cathy) Glisson, her daughter, Dale Elizabeth (Ray) Schreieck, grandchildren, Stephanie, (Brian) Blair, Sharon (Bo) Carpenter, Karen Glisson, Justin (Wendy) Schreieck, seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 12 visitation 12 to 1 pm. Service will begin in the chapel at 1:00 o'clock.
