Betty Fetzer

Betty Jane Grubb Fetzer 89, Died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, January 26, 2024. Betty was Born on October 28, 1934, in Decatur, TN. Mother was devoted to her family, sweet and kind to everyone she met. She was known as "Aunt Betty" and always willing to whip up a meal for all who visited their home. She worked at Fay Swafford's for many years where she made many close friends. She attended Faith Memorial Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, D.R. (Doc) Fetzer; her Parents, Joe Grubb and Maggie Godfrey; and her brother, Jodi Grubb (Bobbi)

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Brenda Higgins, David Fetzer, Kenny Fetzer (Jodi), and Robin Fetzer of Cleveland, TN. Tammy Fetzer Horne (Mark) of Dalton, GA. Grandchildren Amanda Meers of Harrison, TN. Ashley Mosely (Curt), Hilary Flatt (Shawn), of Cleveland, TN, Tucker Fetzer (Hollie) of Riceville, TN, Allison Roberts (Kyle) and Abby Horne of Dalton, GA. Great-grandchildren Zoe and Nolan Dill, Hallie and Maverick Meers, Addison and Lane Hembree, Case Mosley, Nora Blythe Flatt, Cooper and Tatum Fetzer. Along with many special nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland at 6:00 pm with Pastor John Tudor officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm prior to the service.
