In Loving Memory of Betty Cheatham

Betty Cheatham, a vibrant and spirited soul, departed this world on September 16, 2023, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the age of 83. Betty was a devoted member of the Jehovah's Witness faith and had an unwavering passion for sharing her faith with anyone willing to listen. Her life was filled with joy, laughter, and a zest for living.

Betty's infectious laughter and lighthearted spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a unique talent for brightening up even the gloomiest of days with her humor and warmth. Betty had a love for dancing that was matched only by her love for telling jokes. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm for life were truly remarkable.

Betty is survived by her loving daughters, Kicia Cheatham-Willoughby, Deanna Hatfield, and Linda Espejo. She was a cherished grandmother to Avery Cheatham, Kayla Parsons, Austin Hatfield, and Presley Espejo. Betty's presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy and countless cherished memories.

She is also survived by her dear siblings, Delores Bowie and Shirley Gallahan, who shared a special bond of love and support throughout their lives. Betty's family was a source of strength and comfort to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Hewitt and Clara Hewitt, whose love and guidance shaped the remarkable woman she became.

The family will come together on October 15th, 2023 from 1 pm to 5 pm to celebrate Betty's life at Heritage Park in East Brainerd 1428 Jenkins Road 37421, to honor the legacy of a woman whose light shone brightly in the hearts of those who knew her. Betty's memory will live on in the stories, laughter, and love she shared with her family and friends. They will have a potluck meal and the family encourages others to participate.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Betty's name to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to her giving spirit and dedication to helping others.

Betty Cheatham will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the laughter, love, and faith she brought into the lives of those around her. May she rest in eternal peace.
