Betty Ann Mchugh

Betty A. McHugh, the beloved wife of Edward J. McHugh, who preceded her to heaven, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 21, 2021. Betty was a loving wife for 69 years, and the mother of nine children that she loved more than her own life. Betty lived life fully until Alzheimer’s began its assault just over nine years ago. Betty was loved by her husband, her nine children, her 15 grandchildren, her 14 great grandchildren, the spouses of all of her children and grandchildren, and the care-givers at Sharon’s Place and Hearth Hospice, both of Cleveland, TN, as well as the individual ladies that provided nursing care around the clock during the past two years. All of these care-givers were a gift from God making her life peaceful, comfortable, and joyful for the past two years since her husband’s passing. The family will always be grateful to their brother, Timothy McHugh, and his ten years of devotion and care-taking allowing Betty to remain in her home until her homecoming. The family will always be grateful to the parish of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church for their love and kindness. A Celebration of Life and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Michael Nolan officiating.
