Obituary
Bette Ann Lewis, 78, a long time resident of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday, January 28th, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital. Bette was born in Alabama on January 13th, 1936 a daughter of the late Winford Carl Greene and Maureen Stephenson Greene Poteet. She was of the Baptist faith. Fishing and spending time with her family was Bette's two favorite hobbies.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Raymond Lewis.
Bette leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters Lisa Burns (Mike Burns) and Deborah Gibson (Garrett Hyatt). two sisters June Wilson and Rebecca Daughtery (Patrick), a special brother-in-law Patrick Daughtery, five grandchildren; Jason Burns, Shane Burns, Shannon Burns, Amy Dawn Smith and Chad Smith and eight great grandchildren; Jacob Ledford, Ashlyn Ledford, Blake Morris, Jonathan Hunt, Shane McNeely, Gage Burns, Gavin Burns and Kamden Bullurd. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends and family.
A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, February 1st, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Southview Baptist Church located at 553 13th Street in Cleveland, TN with Ronnie Ledford and Terry Lee officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation and viewing on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time at the church.
