Friday, April 25, 2025, Berry Jones Snyder was called home to be with the Lord. He leaves behind a lasting legacy through his beloved wife of 34 years, Loretta Snyder, and his children: Nathan Snyder and his wife Amber, Alex Snyder and his wife Ashley, Justin Snyder and his wife Adrien, and Erika (Snyder) Gleason and her husband Bailey.
Berry was a loving Pop-Pop to his grandchildren: Remington Snyder, Nova Snyder, Henry Snyder, Malachi Snyder, Sunny Snyder, Micah Snyder, McKenzie Snyder, Ella Hamilton (Bilbrey), and Donovan Hutson. He was preceded in death by his precious granddaughter, Wanda Snyder.
He was also preceded in death by his loving mother, Wanda June Snyder (Marley)and his two nieces, Taylor Snyder and Kelsey Snyder. Berry is survived by his father, Jerry Snyder; his stepmother, Jane Snyder; and his brothers, Tim Snyder (wife Melinda) and Matt Snyder (wife Shelly). He is fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Those who had the honor of knowing Berry knew he was a talented painter, skilled woodworker, passionate home project connoisseur, family comedian, and so much more. Berry was one of the most loving people you could ever meet, with a heart that truly sought after God each and every day.
He was a loyal member of Cross Point Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, where he faithfully served as an elder. Throughout his life, Berry lived in many places, always leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and laughter.
The life Berry lived and the legacy he leaves behind are true testaments to what it means to be a God-fearing man. His love, his laughter, and his faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Berry's family will receive friends from 5pm until 8pm on Friday May 2nd at Cross Point Church of God located at 956 6th Street, Cleveland, TN 37312. A celebration of Berry's life will be held at 11am on Saturday May 3rd at the church with burial to follow at Union Cemetery on Hughes Lake Road.
