Bernadine W. Bottoms

Bernadine Bottoms, 62, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her home. She was born in Athens, TN on April 21, 1961 a daughter of the late William & Louise Wilcox. She enjoyed fishing, cheering on her UT Vols and above all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by one grandson Cody Witt and several siblings.

Bernadine leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband Daniel Bottoms, six children John Malone (Hope), Charles Witt, Angel Witt, Adam Witt (Sheila), Mary Kitchens and Eugene Kitchens, seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three brothers Randy Wilcox (Donna), Danny Ray Wilcox and Roger Wilcox (Judy), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN. A service celebrating her life will follow the visitation time on Thursday at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Danny Brown officiating.

The interment and committal service will follow in the Hammonds Cemetery with her family serving as pallbearers.
