Benson Roy Norton

Infant Benson Roy Norton came into the world on August 23, 2018 in Sweetwater, TN. He went to be with Jesus on September 19, 2018 in Athens, TN. He was only 27 days old when he passed away and left many people heartbroken and devastated. In those short 27 days he was a very happy baby. His parents loved him unconditionally as did family and friends.
Benson was welcomed to Heaven by his maternal grandfather Roy Gass, maternal great grandparents Margaret and Clarence Gass Jr, paternal grandmother Billie-Jo Norton and paternal great grandmother Elizabeth Seivers.
Benson will be greatly missed by his parents Steven & Shelby Norton, brother Alexander Ray, maternal grandmother Donna Washam and husband Joe, several great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Athens Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S. White Street in Athens, TN. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM with the Reverend Danny Neal officiating.
