Obituary

Benny Joe Wallace, 64, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Sunday, June 15th, 2014 in a local hospital. Benny was born on March 2, 1950 a son of the late John & Bessie Wallace. Benny was an honorable discharged Veteran of the United States Army after faithfully serving his county during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by three brother Bobby Wallace (Paula), John Wallace (Vickie) and Kenneth Wallace (Angela) , one sister Martha Hudson (Jerry), his companion Connie Melton, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of his life is planned for Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home with the Reverend Ron Wooten officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the 4:00 PM service time.
