Barbara Ruth Mealor

Barbara Ruth Mealor, 68, of Athens, Tennessee, passed away January 14, 2023 with her children and grandchildren by her side. She was born August 29, 1954 to the late Bob and Ruth Johnson of Rome, GA.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nellie Johnson of Rome, GA; brothers, Harvey Johnson, Robert Johnson, Clyde Johnson of Rome, GA, and Kenneth Johnson of Cartersville, GA.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, David Johnson of Cartersville, GA; sons, Teddy (Randie) Mealor of Etowah, TN, Tommas Mealor of Athens, TN; daughter, Tobi (Billy) Sutton of Jasper, GA; four grandsons, Harley Sutton, Teddy Ray Mealor, Jon Carter Mealor, and Sammy Kae Mealor; two granddaughters, Katie Sutton and A.J. Mealor; along with one great grandson, Sylas Mealor.

Services were held on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
