Barbara Lynn Clark

Barbara Lynn Clark, 63, of Cleveland, TN passed away on January 2, 2017. She was born on January 1, 1954 to Oscar and Juanita Dement. Barbara has been a resident of Cleveland for the past 11 years, after moving here from Jackson, MS. She was a faithful member of Faith Memorial Church in Cleveland, TN until she was home bound due to her health. She loved photography and taking pictures, and enjoyed traveling.
She is preceded in death by her father Oscar Dement and one son Steven Clark.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Juanita Dement of Cleveland, TN; daughter Deena Crews (Scott) of Cleveland, TN; son Jason Douglas (Michelle) of Brandon, MS; two sisters Patricia Holland (Les) of Lucedale, MS and Brenda Green (Larry) of Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Sarah, and Evan. In addition to these, she leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday January 5, 2017 at 6:00pm in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Thursday from 5:00pm until 6:00pm.
