Barbara Joanne Briggs

Barbara Joanne Briggs, 77 of Cleveland, daughter of Dirk and Kathryn Gezel Rozenberg, was born May 19th, 1944 in Monroe, Iowa. She graduated from Monroe High School with the class of 1962. She moved to California in the early 70’s where she enjoyed living for over 30 years. Barbara later relocated to Cleveland, Tennessee to be near her sister. She will be remembered by family and friends for her genuine kindness and gentle manner. She always had a kind word for everyone she encountered. She was a lover of animals, music, and could really "cut a rug”. She had quite the green thumb and was very artistic.
Barbara passed away on July 10th, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant brother Wayne Rozenberg, and sister, Maxine “ Micky” Ward.
Those left to cherish Barbara’s memory include her loving daughter, Whitney Briggs-Hart of California, her sister Norma Jean Honnold of West Des Moines, Iowa, Her favorite niece, Jodi Ward Mullinax and extended family in Tennessee and Iowa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
