Barbara Jo Grimes

Obituary
Barbara Jo Grimes, 71 of Cleveland, TN passed from this earthly life to eternal peace in the presence of her Lord on Monday, November 11th, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Birmingham, AL on October 10th, 1942 to Joe and Carrol Neff who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of fifty one years, Larry Grimes; her children Janine Ysidro and husband Mark; Susie Swetman and husband Billy; her four grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Tori Ysidro, Megan Swetman, Lexi Ysidro and Allen Swetman, all of Cleveland. She is also survived by her sister Jan Hack and husband Dave of Oakwood, IL and many nieces, nephews and friends whom she loved dearly.
She was in the banking industry for thirty five years and owned B & B Marina with her husband for ten years before her retirement.
A celebration of her life is planned for Wednesday, November 13th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the North Cleveland Baptist Church located at 2815 North Ocoee Street in Cleveland, TN with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow in the Tasso United Methodist Cemetery with Gene Heffington, Charles Hysinger, Buddy Arnold, Lanny Tayloe, C. R. Frazee and Ed Boring serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be John Tyler, Chris Turner, Ken Sosebee, Don Gaddis, Tom Wilkerson, Lee Wolgamott, Allan King and Steve Elliott.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM service time in the church sanctuary.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial donation can be made in Barbara’s memory to the Open Door Sunday School Class at North Cleveland Baptist Church.
