Barbara Jean Webb Crawford

Barbara Jean Webb Crawford, 86 of Cleveland, departed this life on Monday, August 30, 2021 at her residence. Born on November 24, 1934 to the late Herman Jake and Edith Land Webb, she was a longtime resident of Bradley County and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She worked in the office at various local companies, served in the Navy Reserve, and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Crawford; and sister, Maudine Webb.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, John Crawford; grandson, Kinser Crawford; siblings, Jerry, Jimmy, Bill, Steve, and Sudie Webb; and Virginia Kendall; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Barbara Jean Webb Crawford will be held at 2p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12noon until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be considered to any local veteran’s organization.
