**In Loving Memory of Barbara Dean Goode**
Barbara Dean Goode, a bright spirit born on December 9, 1953, in the quaint town of Lemont, Illinois, made her final journey on January 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy woven with laughter, love, and cherished memories. At 71, Barbara was known as the heart of every gathering, a social butterfly whose charming presence brought joy to all who crossed her path.
With a heart as warm as the melodies she adored, Barbara reveled in the rhythm of old music, often lost in sweet reminiscences of her beloved hometown. She was a master of jokes, bringing smiles and laughter wherever she went, whether she was skillfully sinking pool balls or dancing with life itself.
Barbara's love knew no bounds. She leaves behind her devoted son, Lester Goode, and daughters Sara Goode, Virginia Wall, Kimberly Hysinger, and Leslie Goode. Her family was her pride, and the joy she found in her grandchildren-James Wall, Kyra Hood, David Gross, Preston Hysinger, Keoha Brooks, and Kaioken Goode-was a treasure. Barbara also shared her days with cherished siblings: Alice Mckeever, Roger Woods, Nansy Grill, and Cricket Frederick.
Barbara was preceded in death by her loving parents, John Woods and Rosie Woods, who welcomed her into this world with love, a gift she generously shared with others.
A visitation in honor of Barbara will be held at the Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel on January 25, 2025, at 3:00 PM. In a serene farewell, her remains will be entrusted to the gentle embrace of cremation at 2415 Georgetown Rd NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
As we gather to celebrate Barbara's vibrant life, let us remember her laughter, her kindness, and the love she poured into all our lives. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she cherished.
