Obituary

Barbara Dodd Burns, 83, of lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away July 11, 2014, in Cleveland. She was born Aug. 4, 1930, in Bradley County a daughter of the late William and Callie Dodd. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by siblings Dema Shoemaker, Oliver (Bud) Dodd, Edna Caylor, Robert Dodd, RB Dodd, JC Dodd and Edith Norris.

She is survived by husband Bill (BB) Burns, three children, Randall Burns (Cissy) of Bishopville, S.C., Larry (Bo) Burns of Cleveland, and Janice Fuller (Max) of Chattanooga, and five grandchildren, Michael Burns (Amy) of Greenville, S.C., Jeffrey Burns (Chrissy) of Morrisonville, N.Y., Eric Fuller (Laura) of Chattanooga, Craig Fuller of Dallas, Texas, and Christopher Fuller (Emily) of Chattanooga, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Barbara has been blessed by the special care and love given in recent months from son Bo Burns, niece Jaylene Taylor and great-niece Amy Womack.

Private graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
