Obituary

Barbara Ann Hollingshead Trout, 53, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday, June 7th, 2014 in a local hospital. Barbara was born in Tellico Plains, TN on October 9th, 1960 a daughter of the late Melvin and Juanita Hollingshead. She will be greatly missed by all her family and all those who had the opportunity to meet her.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a sister Janice Adkins.

Barbara leaves behind to cherish her memory her longtime boyfriend Cyrus Trout, one daughter Amanda Cass and her husband Michael, two grandsons Quentin Powell and Cameron Cass, step daughter Christy Smith and one step granddaughter Gracy Smith, two sisters Marie Burkett (Tony) and Wanda Ratliff (Danny), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A memorial gather in which the family will receive friends is planned for Tuesday evening, June 10th, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN.

The family is planning a private burial on Wednesday, June 11th, 2014 in the Ball Play Cemetery in Tellico Plains, TN.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made the American Cancer Society in Barbara’s memory.
