Ayden Tankersley

Ayden Blake Tankersley, born on January 18, 2003, in Cleveland, TN, passed away on December 8, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was a dedicated mechanic at Ford of Cleveland, where his passion for cars shone through every day. Known for his love of repairing vehicles, Ayden spent countless hours tinkering in the garage, always eager to lend a hand to friends and family.

Ayden was not just about work; he had a zest for life that included a range of hobbies. He enjoyed fishing, thrilling drag races, and attending the Rod Run in Pigeon Forge. His love for scary movies became a favorite pastime with his uncle. A proud member of a local car club, he thrived in the camaraderie of fellow car enthusiasts who shared his passion. He was always full of love and laughter that was contagious!

He is survived by his mother, Jade Carr-Green; father, Brandon Tankersley; brothers, Karter Green, Ian Dooley, and Jackson Tankersley; as well as his uncle, Michael Carr; great-grandmother, Artie Carr; grandfather, Joseph Carr; step-father, Brandon Green; and aunt, Emerald Turner. Ayden will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Ayden was preceded in death by: Kenneth Carr, Tiffany Kellett, Charles and Dea Kellett.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm Calhoun United Methodist Church with Pastor Corey Miller officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Calhoun Community Cemetery.
