Obituary
Averie “Deanie” Shelton, 52, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 19th at her home. Deanie a lifelong resident of Cleveland was born here on June 28th, 1960 a daughter of the late Carl Wayne and Jealene Umphlett Shelton. Deanie was of the Lutheran faith.
Deanie leaves behind to cherish her memory one sister Lisa Ray and husband Robby of Cleveland, one brother Dr. Whitney Shelton and wife Carolyn of Huntsville, AL, two nieces Lauren Faustman (Andrew) and Courtney Belcheer (Wesley) and one nephew Jamie Ray, one uncle Wesley Umphlett, special friends Brenda Gibson, Deon Graham, Wanda Bottoms, and Sabrina Davis, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
The family will host a memorial gathering on Wednesday, March 20th, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the parlor of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service.
In lieu of flowers that family request that memorial donations be made to Taylor Animal Hospital at 2840 Keith Street NW, Cleveland, TN to assist them in helping the homeless pet in our area in Deanie’s memory.
