Autumn Greene Cogdill, 38, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, December 28, 2020. Autumn was a lifelong resident of McMinn County and graduated from Central High School. She made a home to raise her seven children, to teach them about loving each other and to instill her faith and values, as well as homeschooling all of them. Autumn had a gentle spirit, was a woman of strength and courage, as well as a strong faith in the Lord that was unwavering. She will be missed by so many people who were touched by her life.
Autumn was preceded in death by her Father, Charles Ray Greene, Grandparents, Joyce Rae Green, Carl Daniel McCaslin, Anna Ruth McCaslin, Uncle, Carl Dewayne McCaslin, Aunts, Tammy Greene Rieser, Melissa Greene Thompson.
She is survived by her Husband, Aaron Cogdill, seven children, Blaine, Keara, Analiah, Samuel, Luke, Ember, Aerin-Marie, Stepchildren, Noah and Destiny, Mother, Annette McCaslin Nivens, Stepfather, Roy Lynn Nivens, twin Sister, Candace Greene Taylor, Brother, Devin Greene, Grandfather, Charles Judson Greenne, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Companion Funeral Home located at 400 South White Street, Athens, TN 37371. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until the 7:00 service. The graveside service will be held at 2:00 on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Green Hill Cemetery located at 1820 US-411, Etowah, TN 37331.
