Ashley Atherton

Ashlea Lynn Atherthon Hodges, 34, of Chattanooga passed away on August 30, 2023. She graduated from Chattanooga Central High School and was a resident of the Chattanooga area for her entire life. She enjoyed cooking, bible study and spending time with her husband and son. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and sister.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Herb Atherton and maternal grandparents Tom and Myrna Blevins.

Survivors include her husband of five years, Drew Hodges; son, Oakland Abubakir; parents, Steve and Cherie Atherton and Jack and Anita Mitchell; brothers, John Mitchell, and Brent and Chase Wiseman; paternal grandmother Jean Atherton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 9th at 4pm at Hamilton Community Church at 7997 Shallowford Road with Pastors LeClair Litchfield and Michael E. Pettengill officiating.
