Arnold Virgil Lee Humbard (Boxcar), 81, of Cleveland, died Saturday morning at home surrounded by his family. For almost 61 years, he shared his life with Nancy. His deep love for his wife, family, little sister and friends was shown in his sacrificial living.
Arnold taught us not just about mechanics and other things but about perseverance, having fun, dedication and the importance of family. He was a man of many passions and found joy experiencing life with others. We will miss his laughter, stories, wisdom, and unwavering love. His absence will leave a void in our hearts, but his legacy will forever live on in the values he instilled in each of us and the many lives he touched. He was an active member of Waterville Baptist Church and was retired from Olin Chemicals. His hobbies, where many memories were made, included hiking, fishing, hunting, going to the races, motorcycle riding, gardening, woodworking, welding, small motor mechanics, off-road trucks, horseshoes, and as of recent; CB radios with Smoky Mountain Skip Chasers with his handle as "Boxcar."
