Anthony Anderson, 56, passed away on June 25, 2024, in Soddy Daisy, TN. A proud United States Navy Veteran, Anthony was a man who embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. He loved to fish, play music, and was known as a pool shark. His voice was often heard singing his favorite songs, and he cherished camping trips with his family. Anthony found immense happiness in spending quality time with his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will last a lifetime. He had a passion for driving and traveling, exploring new places and adventures. As a skilled car mechanic and a grill master, Anthony's talents were as varied as they were impressive.

Anthony is survived by his daughters Shari Mercer, Tara Ireland, and Shyla Anderson; his mother Eula Dodson; and his siblings Morris (Cookie) Frady, Johnny Anderson, Wendy Garner, and Teresa Frady. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Xoa Davis, Jameson Ireland, Christopher Ireland, Savannah Mercer, Natalya Giles, Gabriel Anderson, Ruby Souza, Dominic Souza, Kenna Souza, Lacie Long, Brison Long, and Brooklyn Long, as well as his girlfriend Vickie Hixson.

He was preceded in death by his father Allen Anderson, his brother Darrell Anderson, his sister Alma Anderson, his son Shea Long, and his stepfather Orville Dodson.

Anthony's presence in our lives was a gift, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew him. His laughter, love, and unwavering support will be dearly missed by all. He had a unique ability to bring people together, whether it was through his music, his cooking, or his stories. His legacy is one of love, strength, and joy, and his memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

Final arrangements were entrusted to Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Chattanooga Chapel.
