Anne Sneed

Margaret Anne Sneed, 76, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Monday morning, April 23, 2018. Anne was born on July 26, 1941 to the late Lon Parton and Mary Beard. She was a member of the Union Grove Church of Christ. Anne had a fervent heart for God and a servant’s heart for others. She enjoyed singing, painting, crocheting, and drinking coffee, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving and faithful husband of 43 years, Owen Sneed; step-father, Barney Beard; and siblings, Barbara, Lonnie, and Jerri.
Anne leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Tracy Sneed (Cathy), Lisa Garner (Ben), and Andy Sneed (Emily); grandchildren, Amber Duarte, Lauren Sneed, Leah Duarte, Chase Sneed (Lyndsay), Clay Sneed, Owen Sneed, Charlie Sneed, and Clara Sneed; great-grandson, Aven Smith; sisters, Gwen Pell and Judy Lyles (Ronnie); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, April 26, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at East Side Church of Christ, located at 252 Wildwood Avenue SE, Cleveland, TN 37311.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday April 27, 2018 at the church with Ministers Ted Gobble and Roger Campbell officiating.
Following the service, Mrs. Anne will be laid to rest in the Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery, beside her late husband, with Minister Jeff Archey officiating. Pallbearers will be: David Triplett, Brian Cartwright, Jeff Clabough, Rusty Gregg, Taylor Gobble, Jeremy Randolph, Joe Womac, and Garrison Collins.
