Anne Shell Nunley

Anne Shell Nunley, 65, a resident of Tellico Plains, TN passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at her home. She was born on April 7, 1954 in Coker Creek, TN a daughter of the late Sally Smith. She was born and raised in Coker Creek then moved to McMinn County for 30 years then relocated in Tellico Plains. Anne was a member of First Baptist Church of Tellico. She was an avid animal lover and also loved all type of poetry.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband Danny Nunley and the father of her children Wicky Shepherd.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons Michael Shepherd and his wife Dawnta and Chris Shepherd and his wife Christy, two brothers Allen Smith and David Smith, three grandchildren Megan Shepherd, Lukas Shepherd and Makena Shepherd Fullbright (Josh), numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, February 13, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Tellico located at 510 Scott Street in Tellico Plains, TN. A funeral service will follow the visitation time at 7:00 PM.
The interment and committal service will take place on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Niota Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
