Faye Eads

Anna "Faye" Russell Eads went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 8, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Faye was born in White House, Tennessee on July 27, 1935, the youngest of 4 children. She graduated from Belmont University in Home Economics and married John F. Eads of Cleveland on June 8, 1958. She became an 8th graded Science teacher at Arnold Jr. High School in 1958. She left teaching to raise two children and help John manage a 350+ acre dairy farm in Bradley County. She served her church and her community in multiple leadership roles, including serving on the Tennessee State 4-H Adult Leadership Council. She enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the Western United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Germany/Austria/Switzerland. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Lee Russell and Ura Deen Wilkinson Russell; siblings: Eva Nell Russell Fesmire, James Ward Russell, and Ruth Russell Smith.

She is survived by her husband John Floyd Eads; children: Leigh Eads, Deena Eads Harris and son-in-law James Harris; grandchildren: Ashli Nichole Thomas Wells (Scott) and Ella Grace Eads; daughter-in-law Alison Rucker Eads; in addition to these she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Faye's family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm on Thursday December 12th at the Ridge Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of her life will be held at 7pm following visitation. She will be laid to rest at 1pm CST on Friday December 13th at Hillcrest Municipal Cemetery in White House, TN.
