In Loving Memory of Anita Kay Jellies

September 11, 1963 - September 14, 2023

Anita Kay Jellies, a cherished mother, partner, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 60. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the love she shared with those around her.

Anita had a zest for life and a heart full of kindness. She had a passion for adventure, often taking long bike rides through scenic trails. Her eyes would light up with joy when she spent time with her beloved grandchildren, Anthony, Zoe, and Leland, whom she adored.

Anita had a knack for finding hidden treasures at yard sales and was a connoisseur of antiques, particularly furniture and glassware. Her home was a testament to her love for beautiful, timeless pieces. She was also an excellent cook, and her culinary creations brought warmth and comfort to her family and friends.

Anita is survived by her loving son Josh and his wife Candace, her devoted partner of over 10 years, Richard, her caring brother Jim and his wife Dianne, her sister Denise and her husband David, her sister Brenda and her husband Tommy, and her treasured grandchildren, Anthony, Zoe, and Leland. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Thelma Kazy, and Tom Jellies, the father of her son Josh.

The Jellies Family would like to invite all friends and family to join them in celebration of Anita with a Memorial Service which will be held at Phillippi Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 26th, located at 2484 Harrison Pike in Cleveland. Immediate family will be welcomed from 6pm to 7pm and all other friends and family from 7pm to 8pm. Sammy Hooker will be speaking at 7:45pm in honor of Anita.

Anita's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her. Her kindness, zest for life, and love for her family will be cherished forever. She has left an indelible mark on our lives, and we will miss her deeply.

Rest in peace, Anita Kay Jellies. You will forever be in our hearts.
