Amy Coppinger

Amy Lynn Coppinger passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Friday April 20th. Pain, suffering, loneliness, fear to never be again as I almost think I heard her say, "Thank you Lord... for it is heaven I am now in."

Amy excelled at an early age in many sports with girls softball to become passion. That along with any and all water sports, she often recalled that growing up on the Hiawassee River as living the dream.

Preceded in death by her father T.E."Sonny" Coppinger, brother Chris Coppinger. Grandparents George and Lou Coppinger and Laurence and Genevieve Schow.

Amy leaves behind her cherished mother Gretchen Coppinger and fur baby Sadie Jane. Aunts, uncles and many cousins. Amy will be greatly missed by lifelong friend Lisa Patterson and friend Cynthia Maxwell. Numerous friends and acquaintances, her mother fondly remembering, "Amy never met a stranger".

A celebration of Amy's life will be Saturday, May 4th at Companion Funeral Home, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN from 2pm-4pm, with a small service at 3pm where Gretchen invites those that would like to share a special memory of Amy.
