Amanda Kay Sheppard

Amanda Kay Sheppard, 40, a lifelong resident of McMinn County passed away on Wednesday evening, December 4, 2019 at her home. She was born in Athens, TN on November 20, 1979. Amanda was of the Christian faith and had previously worked at Cracker Barrell. She loved crafts and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Troy Nichols, Francis Nunley, John Freeman and Henry & Elsie Stakely.
Amanda leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Rita Christine Shutt (Steve), father Donald Nichols (Pat), one daughter Madison Sheppard, three sons Christopher Aders, Christian Ades and Mason Sheppard, one brother Travis Nichols (Melanie), grandmother Irene Moses, special aunts and uncles Kay & James Thomas and Peggy & Bill Brown, special friend Mike Lee, several nieces and nephews, other extended family members and host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the Chestua Baptist Church located at 790 Chestua Road in Madisonville, TN. A graveside service will follow in the church cemetery at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Dewayne Lee officiating. Josh Stakely, Samson Stakely, Jason Morgan, Daniel Morgan, Darren Thomas and Dustin Thomas will serve as pallbearers.
