Obituary for Alvis Leon Smith

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Alvis Leon Smith "Al", 71, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away July 11, 2023, at CHI Memorial Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was born on August 31, 1951, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Alvis and Evelyn (Stephens) Smith.

He was our loving and devoted husband, father, paw paw, and friend to ALL whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Eva Smith, and his children Kim (Phillip) Kirk, and Tim Blair (Michelle Burnett). His grandchildren are Hunter(Rachel) Kirk and Kaleb Bryan. Al was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed working in the Auto Body field for many years.

Final Arrangements have been entrusted to Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, Chattanooga Chapel. Family will host a celebration of Life at Mount Pisgah Church Family Center, 66 Westbrook Rd Ringgold,Ga 30736 on Sunday 7/16/2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Al will be missed by many and those moments with him will be cherished by all of those that Al's friendship touched.
