Alvin Taylor

Alvin Taylor, 58, lifelong resident of Chattanooga, TN, passed away August 11, 2023. He was born June 8, 1965, to the late William Taylor and Mary R. Taylor.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred “Star” Taylor; brothers, Calvin L. Taylor and Anthony (Iby) Ash; sisters, Shirley A. Taylor and Janette Lee; aunts, Josie Ashley and Mae (Melvin) Hampton.

Survived by his brothers, Willie (Virginia) Ashley, Dwight Ash, William Taylor, Jr.; sisters, Elerion (Lera) Richmond, Christine (Eddie) Caldwell, Regina Carter, Editha Taylor, and  Octavia Clark; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

No public service will be held. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
