Obituary

Alvin Andrew Mull, 74, a resident of Decatur, TN passed away on Wednesday morning, April 16th, 2014 at his residence. Alvin was born in Polk County, TN on October 4th, 1939, a son of the late Cecil Albert Mull and Lucille Stewart Mull. He was of the Baptist faith. Alvin was a member of the Masonic lodge, the Shriners, and also an avid CB radio enthusiast.

In addition to his parents Alvin is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Bryson.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Mildred Mull; two sons and three step sons, Brian Mull (Dot), Vince Mull, Dale McCoin, Rickey McCoin, & Danny McCoin; one daughter and one step daughter, Yuleen Mull & Bonnie Heaton; three brothers, Larry Mull (Sherry), Danny Mull (Sarah), & Mike Mull (Kelly); three grandchildren, Andrew Mull, Melissa Mull, & Melanie Mull. He also leaves behind many step grandchildren, friends, family, and his special CB buddies.

The family will receive friends on Sunday night, April 20th, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and also on Monday, April 21st, from 11:00 AM until the 1:00 PM service time in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW in Cleveland, TN.

Following the Celebration of life service at 1:00 PM on Monday interment will take place in the Lee Cemetery with Rickey McCoin, Danny McCoin, Cole Tatum, Stephen McCoin, Eric McCoin and Clayton Delaney serving as pallbearers.
