Obituary
Aline Clark, 89, a current resident of Fort Myers, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015. Aline was born in Greenville, SC on August 20th, 1925 a daughter of the late Emmett & Cora Thompson. Aline had made Cleveland her home for several years until relocating to Fort Myers in 2008. She was of the Baptist faith. Aline enjoyed collecting antiques and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Clark, one sister Essie Day and three brothers Curt Thompson, Clarence Thompson and Clyde Thompson.

Aline leaves behind to cherish her memory six children David Long (Brenda), Maynard Long, Jack Long (Charlotte), James Underwood, Russell Underwood (Sandy) and JoAnn Schirmacher (Walter), many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday night, April 6th, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Philippi Baptist Church located at 2325 Harrison Pike in Cleveland, TN.

A graveside service is planned for Tuesday morning, April 7th, 2015 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Jack Long II officiating. The funeral procession will leave Companion Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM.
