Obituary

Alice Viola “Vie” Brewer, 76, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 31st, 2014 at her home. Vie was born on May 8th, 1938 in Dalton, GA a daughter of the late Thomas & Lora Brewer. She worked for many years at Sandra Hosiery Mill. Vie was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death one brother Virgil Earl Brewer.

Vie leaves behind to cherish her memory four siblings Thomas Brewer Jr., John W. Brewer, Lily Hicks and Minnie R. Brewer, nieces and nephews, Curtis Eugene Hicks, Allan Brewer and Gail McClure, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of her life is planned for Friday, January 2nd, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Samples Memorial Baptist Church located at 371 Samples Chapel Road in Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Mark Cameron officiating. Interment will follow in the Samples Baptist Church Cemetery with the family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 noon until the 2:00 PM service time at the church.
