Zandra Kay Devereux

Zandra Kay Devereux, 79, of Athens, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. Zandra was born on July 3, 1943 in Baytown, Texas to the late Robert Clifton and Mary Louise Cope Beeman. Zandra graduated from The University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Zandra thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, researching genealogy, and reading.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Franklin Devereux III; her father in law and mother in law, Benjamin Franklin Devereux II and Hilda Menke Devereux of Bastrop, Texas; and her beloved sons, David Clifton, Devereux, and Brian Benjamin Devereux of Knoxville, Tennessee.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter in law, Renee Devereux of Knoxville, Tennessee; granddaughters, Taylor Devereux of Athens, Tennessee and Addison Devereux of Knoxville, Tennessee; her step grandson, Isaac Blanton of Knoxville, Tennessee; along with a host of extended family and friends.
