Zachary Michael Smith

Zachary Michael Smith, 27, a resident of New York City, and a former resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Wednesday November 1, 2017. He worked as an employee at Tiffany & Co, where he was living his lifelong dream of residing in New York City. All that knew Zachary knew that he had a larger than life personality, and would always make a room shine. He was very charismatic and witty, always making those around him laugh. Although he had many exceptional traits, arguably his best trait was the way he loved others. If you spent any time around Zachary, you would feel exceptionally cared for and loved.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruby Hughes.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving parents, Michael and Sharon Smith; sister, Ashley Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Amy & Ryan Ownby; nephew, Garrett Ownby; and his beloved cats, Mr. Ferals and Ms. Olive; as well as extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service is planned for 6:00pm on Monday November 6, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW.
The family will receive friends two hours prior, from 4:00pm until the 6:00pm service time at the funeral home.
