Theron was a lifetime member of NRA, past president of Ducks Unlimited of Cleveland, holder of the Florida state record Redeye Bass, and holder of the World record Line Class category. He was a member of Central Church of Christ in Cleveland, Tennessee for 46 years.
An avid outdoorsman, Theron enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, grandsons and special fishing buddy, Franklin Haney. Always prepared to head for the woods, lakes, or rivers, he was happiest sharing his knowledge and skills with his “boys” whether hunting deer, ducks, dove, or landing enough fish to host a fish fry for family and friends. After Theron’s passing his son stated, “Dad left this morning to fish the Great Lakes of Heaven” and would wish that all “Smile and have a good day!”
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Jaggers, Dr. Kadrie, Dr. Jurgins, and Hospice of Chattanooga, particularly George, Christie, Erin, and Faedra.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
